Are your products compatible with Square?
Unfortunately, our EOM-200 receipt printers and barcode scanners are not compatible with Square. However, you can use our cash drawer with Square, provided that you connect it to your Square-compatible receipt printer, using the RJ12/11 cable. This depends on the brand of the receipt printer:
EOM-POS: 27,112,0,127,127
Star: 27,7,11,55,7
Epson 27,112,0,25,250
Please note that some models will have different codes.

How do I setup my barcode scanner?
Simply plug in the scanner (or base for the wireless scanner) into a USB port on your computer, and it should be ready to scan. The instruction manual is only for advanced users, to change certain settings.

I installed the driver, but I don’t see the printer in “Devices and Printers”
The printer may have installed on the same port as an existing printer. When that happens, windows will group both printers together. When you right-click on the existing printer, you should see both printers under each option. You will need to change the port in printer properties to an available USB port.

How do I install the printer?
USB: 1) Connect the Power and USB cables, and power on the printer. 2) Open EOM-200 Printer Drive V9.0.exe from the CD or download the latest version from the downloads page at www.eompos.com 3)Click the “Auto Select USB” checkbox. 4) Click OK 5) Click Start --------------------------------- ETHERNET/LAN: INSTALL DRIVER FIRST PRINTER SHOULD BE CONNECTED WITH USB AND ETHERNET DURING SETUP IF your computers IP starts with 192.168.1.xxx, skip to step 7 the Defualt IP of the printer is 192.168.1.88 1-open Modify IP tool USB v1.2.exe (in tools folder) 2-change the first 3 IP sets to match your router IP (if your router's IP is 192.168.1.xx , there is no need to change IP of printer) 3-leave the last set 88 4-click modify 5-the printer should beep and print the new IP address. 6-turn the printer off and on. 7-go to devices and printers (in windows control panel) 8-right click on the receipt printer 9-click printer properties 10-click the ports tab 11- click add port 12-select "standard TCP/IP port" 13-click new port 14-click next 15-type in the IP of the printer 16-click next 17-wait until search finishes 18-select "generic network card" 19-click next 20-click finish 21-click close 22-click apply 23-click the general tab 24-click print test page If you need help, please contact us at www.eompos.com , or call 224-366-7671

I have 2 or more wireless barcode scanners. How do I set them not to interfere with each other?
The Wireless scanners come pre-programmed to not interfere with each other. If you find that they are interfering, you will need to set them on separate channels. Instructions are in the manual. If it doesn't work for you, contact us and we will walk you through the steps.

My printer was working fine, but now it doesn’t communicate at all
Some windows updates cause the driver to be uninstalled. When that happens, simply re-install the driver
