How do I connect my cash drawer to Square?

The EOM-100 is a printer-driven cash drawer, so it should not be connected directly to the Square terminal. Simply plug it into your receipt printer using the cable provided. 

How can I get extra keys?

You can order additional or replacement keys here. 

Why can’t I open my cash drawer with the key?

On rare occasions, you may experience difficulty opening your EOM-100 with the key. Luckily, there’s an easy fix:

i) Unscrew all 8 screws from the bottom of the cash drawer that are circled.
ii) Lift out the bottom and slide out and remove the cash tray and then the drawer.
iii) Replace the bottom and the screws.
iv) Slide the drawer back in.

The drawer will then be able to be opened.

What is the ESC/POS programming code to open the cash drawer?

This depends on the brand of the receipt printer:
EOM-POS: 27,112,0,127,127
Star: 27,7,11,55,7
Epson: 27,112,0,25,250

Please note that some models will have different codes.
